Important!! Examination candidates must have completed the competence pretest prior to the examination with a score of 70%. In due time before the DPO Certification Exam Shuttle Tanker starts, you will receive an email with information and a link to the online test. The test can be (re)taken up to 3 times within the time frame specified in the email containing the link. Candidates that have completed the DPO Specialization Shuttle Tanker course are exempt from this requirement as they have already taken the pretest prior to the course.
If you need to take the competence pretest, this is not included in the course price. The cost of the pretest is NOK 6.030 There is no additional cost for retakes within the specified time frame for the test. Candidates that have completed the DPO Specialization Shuttle Tanker course are not required to take the pretest as they have already taken the pretest prior to that course.
Previous knowledge/training:
Nautical education at management level, Nautical Certificate and passed the DP-Induction as well as the DP-Simulator courses. Offshore Loading Basic course is required before ivssuing “Shuttle Tank” Certificate. Necessary documents must be presented on registration upon arrival the Training Center. The competence pretest must be completed with a 70% score prior to the examination day.
Examination:
There will be a practical simulator assessment and theoretical test with DNV Standard 3.406 Test centre for certification of Personnel. Appendix A, Regulations for Examinations.

REGULATIONS WITH REGARD TO CANCELLATION
1.
Cancellation of Purchase Orders (open courses).
Buyer is entitled to terminate a Purchase Order (without course) without payment of any Fees and Charges, provided that Supplier is entitled to the following amounts:
If a Purchase Order is terminated more than 14 days prior to the first day of delivery of the Course, no Fees and Charges.
If a Purchase Order is terminated less than 14 days but more than 7 days prior to the first day of delivery of the Course, 50% of the agreed Fees and Charges.
If a Purchase Order is terminated within 7 days prior to the first day of delivery of the Course, 100% of the agreed Fees and Charges.

Cancellation of Purchase Orders (entire courses)
Package courses that are ordered in advance can be cancelled one month (30 days) before start date, calculated from the first day of the course. Cancelling package courses in the period 14 – 30 days prior to start date will be charged to the customer at 50 % of the contracted course price. Cancellations after that date are subject to payment of the entire contracted course price.

Re-booking
No cancellation fees shall be payable by buyer if the requested course is re-booked or re-scheduled by buyer within twenty four hours prior to course start.

CANCELLING COURSES
Simsea Real Operations AS reserves the right to cancel courses when there are not enough participants to warrant a course, or in the event of unforeseen incidents. Cancellations must be done one week prior to start date, calculated from the Monday of the week the course was to start.
